Blizzard never made a Mac 2.4.3 that runs on Intel, only PowerPC. I know that is weird since the 1.12.1 runs on both Intel and PowerPC, but that is how it is. Even if you try to manually upgrade 1.12.1 to 2.4.3 it will switch to PowerPC only. You can only play 2.4.3 using the Windows client with some type of wine client.
